Student Project Team (SPT)

The Student Project Team is our newest program involved with Information System Student Programs. The Student Project Team was created in the summer of 2008 with the purpose of using students with advanced skill sets on internal Information Systems projects.

The program is brand new and a great place for students with high aptitudes in project management and advanced technical skills. The team is expanding its scope of projects but has mainly revolved around designing and programming professional Web sites. The team played a major role in building and implementing the new Information Systems Service Portal (www.help.wfu.edu).

The Student Project Team is currently expanding and looking for new, talented students to get involved. The team skill sets range from design work including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with experience in Web design to technical work involving web-based programming. Working on the Student Project Team also gives valuable insight into project management and even has positions available based entirely on project management.
